AI + Medicine
How artificial intelligence is changing how we understand, diagnose and treat human health.
Working in medical AI since 2015, Bea Aretz brings together engineering, research and entrepreneurship to understand what technology can reveal about human health and where medicine is heading next.

About Bea
Bea entered medical AI early, working at the intersection of engineering, clinical questions and health data long before artificial intelligence became a mainstream healthcare conversation.
Her work connects machine learning, digital medicine and hormonal health with a practical founder's view: what can be built, what needs evidence, and what responsible technology should look like in the real world.
What Bea Works On
How artificial intelligence is changing how we understand, diagnose and treat human health.
From wearables and voice to digital biomarkers and multimodal AI.
How data, technology and AI can create more personalized and effective healthcare.
Using AI and multimodal data to better understand hormonal transitions and female-specific physiology.
Ideas & Speaking Topics
Our bodies produce a constant stream of information. The real challenge is understanding what those signals mean and how AI can turn them into better medicine.
Most of us don't think about the signals we produce every day. From heartbeat to hormone levels, multimodal AI can uncover patterns in human health that were previously invisible.
But not how you think. Beyond the hype: where AI is already making a real difference in medical research, diagnostics and complex health data.
How daily hormones and AI expose some of medicine's oldest blind spots, and what we can do differently.
We have the data. We have the science. So why is turning them into medical innovation still so difficult?
Testimonials
"Beatrice opened the event with a Science Slam that was engaging, accessible, and scientifically well-founded. The discussion that followed particularly benefited from her research in HealthTech and AI, and from her ability to communicate the potential of artificial intelligence in healthcare in a way that was both clear and compelling for a broad audience. We experienced Beatrice as an inspiring expert with a strong technical understanding of AI and its applications in women's health and healthcare more broadly. Working with Beatrice was seamless and highly professional."The State Representation of Baden-Württemberg in Berlin
